Real spaces, real challenges, real solutions. Here's a look at some builds we're particularly proud of - the ones that kept us up at night and made it all worth it in the morning.
This 1960s bungalow was screaming for help when the owners reached out. They loved the location but honestly? The layout was a nightmare. We opened up the whole main floor, added a second story that doesn't look like an afterthought, and brought in floor-to-ceiling windows to actually use that lake view they were paying for.
A gutted warehouse turned creative office space - and yeah, we know everyone's doing warehouse conversions these days, but this one had its own personality to work with. The client wanted 'industrial but warm,' which could've gone sideways fast. We kept the exposed brick and beams but softened everything with acoustic panels that actually look good and tons of natural light.
Working with heritage buildings is like doing surgery - you've gotta respect what's there while making it actually livable for modern folks. This 1890s townhouse had great bones but decades of questionable renovations. We stripped it back, restored the original brick and timber, then sneakily integrated modern systems without ruining the character. The heritage committee loved it, which doesn't happen every day.

High-end retail is tricky - you need drama but also functionality that doesn't get in the way of selling stuff. This fashion boutique wanted something that felt like an art gallery but could handle heavy foot traffic and quick seasonal changeovers. We went with modular display systems, dramatic lighting that's actually adjustable, and materials that look expensive because, well, they kinda are.
Brand new build on a challenging narrow lot in one of Toronto's oldest neighborhoods. The zoning restrictions were intense, but we managed to get 4,000 sq ft without making it look like a monster home. Three stories, clean lines, but enough texture and warmth so it doesn't feel cold.
Every project starts with a conversation. Let's talk about what you're trying to build and figure out if we're the right fit for making it happen.
